Timeslips Basic
Timeslips is the most popular and widely used time billing system in the world. It has features to accommodate a wide range of billing arrangements. The purpose of the Basic class is to answer the question "How do I get my bills out the door?". Even experienced users have taken our Basic class and left saying, "Gee, there was a lot of helpful information that I didn't know about". Consider taking this class if you want to evaluate the product in order to make a buying decision. This class is for staff members, timekeepers, and the firm's managers.

Timeslips Intermediate
This Intermediate class is intended to give the student an exposure to the more sophisticated and powerful features in this robust time billing product. We also encourage students to bring their own questions, report examples, and wish lists to the class. This class assumes that the student has already been using Timeslips and has a working knowledge of the basic operations. Prior to taking a Timeslips Intermediate class, we do not require that a student attend a Timeslips Basic class. However, we highly recommend taking a Basic course if you have had less than 6 months of experience with Timeslips. This class is for the people in your firm who have the primary responsibility for running the program, and also for managers who are exploring ways to get more productivity from this powerful billing system.

Timeslips Reporting
One of the helpful features of the Timeslips billing system is that it has a wide variety of options for reporting. There is good flexibililty in the standard reports that come built into the program. Then, there is a Report Designer program that is included with the software that can be used to create custom reports. Finally, it is also possible to export data to be used in other programs, or to access the Timeslips database with Crystal Report writer (a third party product used for database reporting). This class focuses on the reporting capabilities and options for Timeslips. During the class students will build a custom report called the Realization Report using the Timeslips Report Designer. This class is for the people in your firm who have the primary responsibility for running the program, and also for managers who are exploring ways to get more information from this powerful billing system.

Timeslips TAL Pro Accounting Link With QuickBooks Pro
Over 65% of Timeslips users indicate that they also use QuickBooks for managing their general ledger and for issuing financial reports. For years there has been frequent requests for these two popular products to have better integration between them. Now the wait is over. This class will review the setup procedures and the day-to-day use of the TAL Pro accounting link between Timeslips and QuickBooks, and will discuss various tricks and traps in using the link. This class is aimed at users that already have a familiarity with using both Timeslips and QuickBooks, and that have the primary responsibility for running these programs in your firm. It can also be beneficial for users responsible for entering costs into QuickBooks that are to be billed to your clients through Timeslips. Since the TAL Pro link is an add-on product for Timeslips and requires Timeslips v10.5 with service release 3 (or higher) and QuickBooks Pro 2002 (or higher), consider taking this class to evaluate the product for a purchasing decision.
